Jim says, "Ok, here's the deal. We don't do as much public performing as we used to. Except for the Little Bear we gave up playing clubs over a decade ago. We still do private events as a band, but we can't invite you to those performances (no matter how well behaved you promise to be). The Events page will now feature Runaway performance announcements and dates significant for celebratory purposes."
June 30 2019	The CD "Small Towns" Release Concert was held at The Newell Farm Opry in Berthoud, CO. Runaway Express performed their recent "Small Towns" project in its entirety. Watch the video by Greg Carr, Kansas Skies.

September 14 2019	Sept. 14 - Jim and Salli returned to the High Peaks Music Festival in beautiful Westcliffe. They were part of a lineup that included Dakota Blonde at the Feed Store Park and Amphitheatre.
September 2018	Sept 12-16 - Jim joined Roz Brown at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival, held on the Fairgrounds in Winfield, Kansas. Jim said, "I may still have a career in Kansas."
September 2018	Sept 23 - Jim and EP Davis were honored by the Liz Masterson Western Heritage Awards Committee. Jim won the "Lifetime Achievement - Producer and Recording Engineer" award. EP Davis won the "Producer and Recording Engineer of the year 2018" award.
May 2018	Jim, Salli, and Ernie were joined by Tim Cook of the Subdudes and Chris Stongle in a concert at the St. John High School, 505 N Broadway, St. John, Kansas, at 8 pm.
November 2017	Nov. 21 - Jim joined Solomon Cook, Jon Chandler, Ernie Martinez, and Johnny Neill at America's Soul Live! in the Olde Town Pickin’ Parlor in Arvada.

August 2012	Aug. 10-13 - Jim and Salli were guests of Bob Shane's at the Kingston Trio Fantasy Camp in Phoenix. Concerts open to the public. Come on down and see 30 banjos on stage, all at once! Aug. 13 - Because of the Fantasy Camp we didn't do our annual Woodstock celebration. You can still buy the Woodstock record from our discs page or at CD Baby.
